Treatments
I am a mobile Foot Health Practitioner offering Footcare treatments from one-off visits to regular maintenance in the comfort of your own home, ensuring your feet will be in their best condition.

Nail Cutting
Proper nail cutting can prevent a host of issues most commonly the ingrown nail, which if it becomes infected will need ingrown nail treatment by a professional.
On my visit to your home, I will ensure that nails the are cut correctly, taking into account the unique shape and growth patterns of your toenails.

Corns
Corns are caused by friction and pressure and can make the feet feel very uncomfortable if left untreated. Treatment is needed for corns to be debrided out gently using a scalpel blade by a trained professional, this process does not cause pain for the client. Some corns can become quite big, compacting under pressure, other corns are smaller, such as seed corns. Corns are normally found under the foot but they can present on top of the toes or even between them!

Fungal Nail
Onychomycosis is the infection of the toenail with fungus. This usually affects the big toenails, though it can spread to the other nails. The infected toenail may be discolored, thickened, crumbling, and lifting off the nail bed. Fungal nail is quite common, but is not easy to treat, especially if the infection has become severe. It is best to see a professional for an assessment and advice on a Fungal Nail treatment.

Athlete's foot
Athlete's foot is a common fungal infection that can cause redness, peeling skin, and itching between the toes. It can also present on the sole of the foot and around the sides of the foot as peeling and flaking skin. The fungi (tinea pedis) thrives in warm, moist environments, hence drying well between the toes is cruical. Also, avoiding walking barefoot at public swimming pools or saunas can lessen the risk of picking up this fungal infection. If athlete's foot is not treated promptly, it can lead to fungal nail.

Callus
Removing hard skin from your feet is essential not just for comfort, but for overall foot health. If left untreated, it can build up, and lead to painful cracks, infections, and other issues. Professional maintenance at regular intervals throughout the year will ensure that this build-up is safely and effectively reduced, preventing potential complications.

Common foot issues such as ingrown toenails, corns, fungal nails, athlete’s foot, and calluses can cause significant discomfort if left untreated.
Ingrown toenails may require professional cutting to prevent infection, while corns, caused by friction or pressure, are gently debrided using a scalpel by a trained foot health practitioner.
Fungal nails and athlete’s foot, both caused by fungal infections, often need professional assessment and consistent care to prevent spreading.
Calluses, or hard skin, can crack and lead to infection if not regularly removed.
Regular maintenance by a qualified practitioner ensures these conditions are managed effectively, preventing pain and improving overall foot health
